I wasn’t invited to the White House Frontiers Conference as I had hoped. But, something cool happened, nonetheless.

First, President Barack Obama followed me on Twitter. 

Then, I got invited to join a live conference call with President Obama today, along with the United States Secretary of Health and Human Services and other select health influencers.

Politics aside, it is pretty cool to be invited to sit in on a live (not pre-recorded) conference call with the President of the United States, and it was very cool to be asked because of my work as a health activist.

Mr. President ended his conversation with thanking us and saying God Bless all of us who are health activists or who advocate for health causes. Whether you like him politically or not, President Obama is a class act.
