Have you ever heard of Amazon Smile? It’s a great way to give back to great charities while doing your normal online shopping.
I’d encourage you to use this link to purchase my books using Amazon Smile to benefit the South Hills Pet Rescue & Rehabilitation Resort.
As many of you know, not only am I an author and a health activist, but I am also an animal-lover and “pet mom!”
Sometimes, it is hard for me to be as involved of an animal advocate as my heart yearns for me to be. But, I try to do what I can: I’m on the Board of Directors for WearWoof.org, am a social media consultant to Paws N Claws Eyewear who donates proceeds to the ASPCA and the Mayor’s Alliance for NYC’s Animals … and over half of my pets (I have 5! Follow the #shuckzoo hashtag on social media to get to know them) are adopted/rescues.
In fact, one of my rescue pups, Pip, is actually from South Hills Pet Rescue, so even if you don’t want to “adopt” instead of “shop,” and even if you can’t volunteer or foster, you can at least donate to the cause.
What’s great about Amazon Smile is that you don’t have to donate your own money: for purchases made using Amazon Smile, Amazon donates a percentage to charity. So please designate South Hills Pet Rescue or WearWoof.org as your charity, and get shopping today!
You can start by buying my books — I’d greatly appreciate it! 😉
