The end of a year is always bittersweet…a proud time to recount all of your accomplishments, a happy time to relive memories from the past 365 days, but it is sad to reflect on the hard times that the year brought with it.
It can also be frustrating to see your unmet goals and resolutions, and yet inspiring to set new ones for the coming year.
What will you resolve in 2013? For me: publish my book, eat healthier, lose 15 lbs/get in better shape, and finish training to become a health coach. In 2013, I’d also love to get a puppy, make it back to NYC, and, most of all I wish for health, happiness, love, laughter, and joy for not just me but for all of my family, friends, and loved ones. (And a great & healthy year for my little furry friends, too!)
I’d love for the new year to bring about a new attitude of peace, love, tolerance, compassion, and open-mindedness. More awareness on many issues. Less violence. Less sickness. Less divisiveness. (and less Honey Boo Boo.) And, I will strive to do my part, too, by continuing my 365 Acts of Kindness through 2013.
I hope you all have a safe & fun New Years Eve, and pray for a 2013 filled with nothing but good things for us all.
As we bid adieu to 2012, I’d like to wish you all a Happy New Year and good luck in making your wishes and dreams come true.
Keep hope.
Have faith.
